Acne

Acne is a chronic skin condition that occurs when pores are clogged with sebum and dead skin cells. The skin becomes inflamed when blocked pores are infected with bacteria, resulting in swollen and red bumps. Acne is commonly found on the face and neck, and may also appear on the chest, back, and shoulders.

Permanent scarring may occur if the condition is severe and not appropriately and effectively treated.
