Moles

Moles are a common type of skin growth that are composed of masses of pigment-producing cells (melanocytes). They can occur anywhere on the skin—face, scalp, body, palms, even soles of the feet. Moles are usually evenly coloured brown or black. They can be flat or raised, round or oval.

Treatment Options

  • Excision

Larger raised moles are best removed by surgical excision.
