Clarity Laser

The Clarity Laser is a safe and versatile dual wavelength long-pulsed laser. It is the only laser that is effective for pore & oil reduction, and the best laser for skin brightening.

How Does It Work?
The Clarity Laser delivers its energy (photothermal) to the epidermal (superficial) and upper dermis skin layers to break up superficial pigmentation and reduce the size of the fine blood vessels.

The laser is ‘long-pulsed’ because of its longer pulse duration, allowing more time to stimulate collagen (firming) and elastin (tightening) production in the dermis, resulting in a firmer and tighter face.

The photothermal effect also results in the shrinking of sebaceous glands to reduce oil production and, thereby, reducing pore size.

What To Expect

The dual lasers wavelengths (NdYag and Alexandrite) serve different purposes, and our doctors typically use both wavelengths to achieve optimal results.

A topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the face and neck. You will experience a warm, prickly sensation during the treatment, but the Clarity laser is designed to make this treatment comfortable with its built-in ‘Intelligent Cooling’ system. The procedure is concluded with Yellow LED light therapy for 10 minutes, which aids in speeding up healing and recovery.

Some veins and pigmentation take time to be broken down and removed by your body naturally. Depending on your skin’s response to treatment, three sessions at monthly intervals may be required to achieve desired results.

Downtime

The warm sensation and mild redness after the laser treatment is expected and lasts up to 1 hour. After the procedure, you may continue with your regular skincare routine and makeup application.

For pigment spot reduction, the redness may last 3 to 5 days. Any scabs that form will fall off within 7 days. Colour balancing takes 6 to 8 weeks.

There is no downtime for pore reduction.
