Liposonix is a FDA-approved procedure to break down targeted fat, typically in the waistline and thighs, for the purpose of toning and sculpting the body without the need for invasive surgery.
How Does It Work?
It uses high-intensity, focused ultrasound (HIFU) energy to heat and break down unwanted subcutaneous fat cells without damaging the surrounding skin or overlying tissue. The ultrasound energy is focused entirely on the determined areas, typically 1.3cm beneath the surface of the skin.
